CONCORD, NC – The DIRTcar Sportsman Modified North Region series will make an additional tour stop at Autodrome Drummond in Quebec on Saturday, May 5. Sportsman drivers in the north are invited to go head-to-head on the high speed half-mile clay oval. It will take 50 laps to decide the season’s second North Region points race.
Saturday May 5 also kicks off Autodrome Drummond’s 68th season of racing competition. DIRTcar Sportsman drivers across the region are excited to make their mark on the historic speedway.
To celebrate the season opener, all Drummondville residents gain free entry to the event. For those of you with a long tow, camping is free at the track. More information about opening day can be found on the Autodrome Drummond website.
The DIRTcar Sportsman North Region will race eight times 2018 to decide the Series Champion before the Fall Championship starts. Tracks in Quebec, Ontario, and New York host the series throughout 2018. Follow @DIRTcarNE on Twitter for the latest news and photos.
