Four Mr. DIRTcar Championship Series Events In May

May marks the second month of Mr. DIRTcar Championship Series competition in 2008 with the opening three events scheduled all part of the Advance Auto Parts Super DIRTcar Series for Big-Block Modifieds.

The second Mr. DIRTcar Sportsman Championship Series race closes out the month in Central New York.

Overall Mr. DIRTcar Champions will once again be determined by tabulating points earned in the Advance Auto Parts Super DIRTcar Series for Big-Block Modifieds and the Mr. DIRTcar Championship Series for 358-Modified, Sportsman, Pro Stock and Street Stock teams along with bonuses collected in each divisional DIRTcar Regional Racing Series. This year the track bonus formula is identical for all five touring classes.

To gain access to DIRTcar Racing Series headline stories during the upcoming season, log into http://www.dirtcar.com and select ‘Series’ at the top then choose Mr. DIRTcar Series (#7) and hit ‘GO’ on right. Specific information about the Advance Auto Parts Super DIRTcar Series can be found at www.superdirtcarseries.com. Bookmark each selection for quick review at a later time.
